What's behind the military earplug lawsuit?
In the early 2000s, a company known as 3M contracted with the U.S. armed forces to design and manufacture hearing protection devices for our soldiers. 3M manufactured the Dual Combat Arms Earplugs, Volume 2 (CAEv2).
However, the insertion stem on the CAEv2 was too short to properly fit into one's ear. This meant the earplug did not provide hearing protection. 3M knew that the CAEv2 was defective but did not disclose this information to the government or our soldiers.
This fraud went on for more than a decade. Due to 3M's gross negligence, a large number of our veterans and active duty personnel are left to struggle with hearing loss or tinnitus. The 3M Dual Combat Arms Earplugs lawsuit is designed to hold this company accountable.
The 3M earplug lawsuit is based in O'Fallon, MO under the name SUE 3M, but veterans can sign up no matter where they are.
3M valued profit over the well-being of our courageous soldiers. It is 3M's time to pay their debts to our affected veterans and active duty personnel. This earplug class action lawsuit is not anti-government. It's pro-government, pro-military and pro-soldiers.
